Aurangabad
Situated in the northern part of Maharashtra, Aurangabad is a historical city in India. The city boasts of a rich past and has seen the dominance and ruin of many dynasties in its course of survival. Established by a local Muslim noble Malik Ambar at some stage in the early 16the century, the city fascinates travelers from all parts of the globe in hordes. Aurangabad is on the banks of the River Kham and manages temperate ambience with moderate winters and well-known for it's silk and cotton textiles.
The city is well-known for the sites like Bibi-ka-Makbara, the mausoleum of Aurangzeb's queen and several Buddhist cave temples.
