Nalanda - Nalanda Pilgrimage Tour
Nalanda features among the world-famous Buddhist destinations which is located at a distance of 90 kms from the southeast Patna and 60 kms from Bodhgaya. The place came into existence around 5th century B.C. and rose to become a renowned educational destination. Nalanda became even popular for its monastic university that served as an excellent spiritual and knowledge center. Lord Buddha had preaches briefly here.
Nalanda gained global famous owing to the visit of a famous Chinese traveler Hieun Tsang who came anytime during the 7th century AD. Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh features among the famous Buddhist sites. Barely at minutes drive from the holy and ancient city of kashi, Varanasi, Sarnath strikingly features among the four significant geographical landmarks in the life of Buddha.
